WCPL relies on levy support to maintain a robust collection of books, audios, movies, music and more in both physical and digital formats.
Approximately 20% of the Library’s budget annually is used to purchase new materials for checkout.

Levy funds support programs like storytime, 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten, and Summer Reading Club that promote literacy and foster a love of reading.
Proficient readers are 4 times more likely to graduate by age 18 than those who read below level.

Levy support ensures free job coaching, monthly networking groups and skill-building resources are readily available for those looking for jobs, or training for a new career.
